This project was designed by a teacher who loved how students engaged with building bristlebots but saw how they lost interest once they were built because there was nothing left to do.

Dancing Monsters are a fun way to apply numerous engineering concepts - friction, transfer of energy, the relationship between force and mass, and centripetal force - to making Monsters dance!

The kit uses a visible eccentric rotating mass motor (vibrating motor) and engaging prompt to encourage students to apply the engineering process while they design their dancing monsters.
